Here are 20 ideas to consider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learn the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/identify-and-assist-a-trafficking-victim\/\">indicators of human trafficking<\/a>\u00a0on the\u00a0TIP Office\u2019s website or by taking a training.\u00a0 Human trafficking awareness training is available\u00a0for individuals, businesses, first responders, law\u00a0enforcement, educators, and federal employees,\u00a0among others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are in the United States and believe someone\u00a0may be a victim of human trafficking, call the 24-hour\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/humantraffickinghotline.org\/\">National Human Trafficking Hotline\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0at 1-888-373-7888\u00a0or report an emergency to law enforcement by calling\u00a0911. Trafficking victims, whether or not U.S. citizens, are\u00a0eligible for services and immigration assistance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be a conscientious and informed consumer.
